WE BELIEVE IN KINDNESS
After 20 years working in the footwear industry, and an enduring sneaker obsession, Marté founder Victoria Angus decided there must be another way to approach retail - that corporate kindness and sustainability were more important than strategic planning and sales targets!
That's why Marté Footwear’s mission is centred around Labour rights, freedom of association and freedom from discrimination, along with forward thinking movements on environmental impact and a drive to sustainability.
That's also why we knew we wanted to partner with small, family run factories within the EU - binding us to the same national and international regulations as our chain of suppliers - ones where our mission is protected and delivered through law.
TRACEABLE
Every component of our sneakers can be traced back to its European origin, where all of our footwear is made exclusively, ensuring the highest standards of employment law and freedoms are upheld for everyone who is involved in our manufacturing process.
SUSTAINABLE

100% of our leathers are heavy metal free and sourced through tanneries signed up to The Leather Working Group.
