The Wing: More Than a Logo
When I designed the Marté wing, it was never meant to be decoration.
It was meant to stand for something.
In fashion, logos are often about visibility. Recognition. Status.
But for me, the wing represents movement — forward motion with intention.
It represents lightness.
Not just in silhouette, but in impact.
It represents protection.
The idea that what we put into the world should be responsible.
And it represents progress.
Because fashion can evolve — and it must.
Why a Wing?
Long before feathers became a Spring / Summer 2026 trend, the wing was part of Marté’s DNA.
I wanted a symbol that felt timeless rather than seasonal. Something that spoke quietly but confidently.
Wings suggest elevation.
But they also suggest grounding — because flight only works when structure is strong.
That balance mirrors how we design our trainers:
Soft lines. Strong construction.
Light aesthetic. Serious craftsmanship.
Integrity in Every Step
Each pair of Marté trainers is crafted in Spain, in family-run factories with generations of shoemaking expertise.
We use certified European leathers.
We produce in considered quantities.
We prioritise traceability over speed.
The wing sits on the outside.
But integrity sits underneath it.
In a world of fast fashion, I wanted to build something slower.
More deliberate.
More honest.
The wing reminds me of that, every time I see it.
And I hope it reminds you too.
